1. Website purpose
This website is a product catalog and quotation-request service. It does not provide online checkout, collect payment or automatically create a binding sale.
2. Quotations and orders
Adding a product to the quote cart does not reserve stock. A transaction is agreed only after SM Traders confirms the products, variants, quantities, final price, taxes where applicable, payment arrangements, delivery terms and any other relevant conditions directly with you.
3. Prices and availability
Prices displayed online are reference prices and may change without notice. Availability, bulk rates, variants and delivery costs are confirmed when your request is reviewed.
4. Product information
We aim to keep names, descriptions, images, specifications and prices accurate. Manufacturers and suppliers may change product details, and occasional errors may occur. The details confirmed in the final quotation take priority over general website content.
5. Product selection and safety
General guidance from SM Traders does not replace a workplace risk assessment, engineer, qualified safety professional or applicable legal standard. The customer is responsible for confirming that equipment, ratings, sizes and certifications are suitable for the intended task and users.
6. Delivery and inspection
Orders are delivered within Pakistan. The shipping fee is calculated according to the items ordered, shipment weight and destination, then confirmed in the quotation. Typical transit time is 3–5 working days after dispatch, subject to stock, destination and carrier conditions. Customers should inspect delivered goods promptly and report any shortage, damage or discrepancy.
7. Returns, exchanges and warranties
Eligible unused products may be returned within 3 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for return-shipping costs. Products must remain unused and in their original condition and packaging; safety equipment that has been used, altered, contaminated or removed from sealed packaging may not be accepted. Contact SM Traders before sending a return. Product-specific warranty or exchange terms confirmed in the quotation take priority where applicable.
8. Acceptable use
You may use the website for legitimate product research and business enquiries. You must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, scrape the site in a harmful manner or submit fraudulent or abusive requests.
9. Third-party services
The site links to WhatsApp, uses Google Analytics, displays customer review content from Google Maps Platform and may display supplier-hosted product images. Google services are governed by the applicable Google terms and Google Privacy Policy. Other third-party services operate under their own terms, availability and privacy practices.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SM Traders is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on unconfirmed website information, misuse of equipment, third-party service interruption or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
